Using the Real-time Black List
The Real-time Black List is an up-to-date online database of known spam sources. Setting Shaw Secure to use the Real-time Black List improves its ability to detect spam, but it also slows the process of downloading new email messages.
By default, Spam Control uses the Real-time Black List.
To change the Real-time Black List setting:
- Open Shaw Secure.
- Click Spam Control.
- Click Advanced.
- Select or clear the Use internet queries to improve detection rate (RBL) check box.
- Click OK to close the window.
