Updating Shaw Secure
By default, Shaw Secure checks for software updates hourly. This helps ensure that Shaw Secure can recognize and effectively protect your computer from the latest threats.
Although it's not recommended, you can disable automatic updating and check for updates manually instead.
To disable Automatic Updates:
- Open Shaw Secure.
- Click the Automatic Updates tab.
- Click Disable.
To check for updates manually:
- Open Shaw Secure.
- Click the Automatic Updates tab.
- Click the Check now link.
