Uninstalling Shaw Secure

Method 1:

Generally, this method will remove all of Shaw Secure from your computer.

Click on the Start button.
Select the Control Panel option.
Double-click on Add or Remove Programs.
Find and click on Shaw Secure then click on Change/Remove.
Click on Yes if you wish to remove Shaw Secure.
Click the Close button.
Restart your computer.

Method 2:

If you have a Shaw Secure install that has failed or has not completely finished you will need to do the following steps to insure that you have it completely removed before trying to install it again.

First you have to make sure all the processes for the Shaw Secure installer are shut down. Do the following to checks:

Click on the Start button.
Click on Run.
Type in taskmgr.
Under the Processes tab, look for ShawSecure.exe and fspex.exe. If they exsist, highlght them and click on End Process.

Download the Shaw Secure Uninstaller from here.
Run Shaw Secure Unistaller, rmss.exe.

This process will remove all traces of the Shaw Secure program.
