HOW TO ENTER:
All Shaw customers, in good standing, who download and install Shaw Secure between February 11, 2010 and March 15, 2010, 11:59 p.m. (MST) are automatically entered in the Grand Prize draw.
You must have an active Shaw Secure account in good standing by March 15, 2010, 11:59 p.m. (MST) to be automatically entered into the Grand Prize draw. Shaw Cablesystems G.P. will not be responsible for delayed or late entries.
GRAND PRIZE:
Two winners will be drawn and each winner will receive:
One (1) HP Envy 15.6" Laptop featuring Intel Core Processor i7
valued at $2,200.00. The prize must be collected by April 1, 2010.
- This Contest is open to all Shaw Secure customers who are of the age of majority as at March 15, 2010, 11:59 p.m. (MST) (excluding Quebec). Proof of identification and residence must be produced on request. Employees, officers and directors of Shaw and its partners and associates of the Contest sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates, and such individual’s immediate family members and persons with whom such individuals are domiciled, are not eligible to enter or participate in this Contest.
- The Grand Prize Draw will be held in Calgary, Alberta, on or around March 15, 2010.
- The Grand Prize must be collected by April 1, 2010.
- Entry is limited to one per household. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
- The Grand Prize is not redeemable in cash and is not transferable. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions at the request of the winning entrant will be made.
- Decisions of the Contest judges are final - no substitutions are available.
- To win the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize winner’s Shaw account must be in good standing as of the date of the Grand Prize draw.
- No purchase is required to enter the Contest. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- The person whose name is drawn as being the winner of the Grand Prize will be required to answer a skill-testing question before the Grand Prize is awarded to him/her.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time, Shaw reserves the right to draw another winner.
- The winner will be required to sign a release form as prepared and accepted by Shaw acknowledging their acceptance and understanding of the complete Contest rules. Shaw reserves the right to draw another Grand Prize winner and/or substitute a different Grand Prize.
- By claiming the Grand Prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Shaw may deem appropriate.
- The entrant understands that by entering the Contest, the entrant agrees to allow Shaw to collect, use and disclose the entrant’s personal information for the purposes of this Contest. - In accepting the Grand Prize, the winner acknowledges that Shaw and its associates, affiliates, partners, agents and Contest sponsors may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury of any kind associated with accepting or using the Grand Prize. The entrant agrees that he/she releases and holds harmless Shaw and its associates, affiliates, partners, agents and Contest sponsors from and against any and all causes of action, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs and expenses by reason of or arising out of the entrant’s participation in this Contest.
- Detailed Contest rules applicable to this Contest, including Contest entry dates, how to enter, and prize value, number and any restrictions applicable to these prizes are available upon request from Shaw Cablesystems G.P. at your local Shaw Cablesystems G.P. Office. By entering this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by these Contest rules.
- Shaw retains the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the Grand Prize for any reason whatsoever.
- This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
- Shaw reserves the right to withdraw, amend, suspend or terminate this Contest at any time without prior notice.
- Approximate value of Grand Prize is $2,200.00 CDN each.
- The Contest will commence, February 11, 2010, and will end on March 15, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. (MST).
- Grand Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and must be accepted as awarded. Cash equivalent substitution will not be available.
