Changing the Parental Control Password

To change the Parental Control password, you'll need to know your current password, or you'll need your Shaw Secure subscription number.

To change the Parental Control password using your current password:

1. Open Shaw Secure.
2. Click the Parental Control tab.
3. Click Change Password.
4. Select which profile password you would like to change.
5. In the Current Password box, type your existing password.
6. In the New Password box, type the new password.
7. In the Confirm New Password box, type the new password again.
8. Click OK.
9. A confirmation window will open to confirm that your Parental Control password has been changed. Click OK.

To change the Parental Control password using your subscription number:

1. When Shaw Secure asks you for your Parental Control password, click the  Forgot Your Password? link.
2. Type your Shaw Secure subscription number. This number would have been provided to you when you signed up for Shaw Secure.
3. Click Continue.
4. Type a new Parental Control password.
5. Type the new password again to confirm your choice.
6. Click OK.
7. A confirmation window will tell you that you have successfully changed your password. Click OK.
